Kim Jin-cheol, CEO of JAN 153 Biotech,
has developed a technology to control pine wilt disease using natural substances and microorganisms in their natural state.
Demonstrating excellent efficacy against viral, bacterial, and soil fungal diseases, the company is pursuing global product registration.

“The JAN Doctor 1 Ever Vaccine product, developed using the Bacillus subtilis JCK-1398 strain, a technology for controlling pine wilt disease, has been registered as an organic agricultural material and is scheduled to be registered as a microbial pesticide in May of this year. In addition to pine wilt disease, this product has shown excellent efficacy against viral, bacterial, and soil fungal diseases occurring in various crops, and we are currently pursuing product registration in the United States, Brazil, Vietnam, and other countries.”

JAN 153 Biotech is a startup that develops global biopesticide products and technologies. It was founded in March 2020 by CEO Jin-Cheol Kim (56). CEO Kim is currently a professor at Chonnam National University.
